Lucille Sherman, News & Observer – Four North Carolina state lawmakers have now announced that they will not run for reelection in 2022, as the Republican-controlled General Assembly is preparing to redraw state legislative and congressional districts. That means some lawmakers who have announced they aren’t running for another term don’t yet know exactly how easy, or difficult, being reelected may be.
