David Purtell, Triangle Business Journal – Cary has been selected as the host site for Major League Baseball’s first-ever pre-draft combine this summer. The combine, part of new additions to MLB’s Prospect Development Pipeline (PDP), will be held June 20-28 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex at Thomas Brooks Park, MLB announced Monday.
