North Carolina will use part of a $40 million e-cigarette settlement to fund research
Ariana-Jasmine Castrellon, The Fayetteville Observer – $40 million settlement will help fund research into how to stop the use of electronic cigarettes among young people, a Cumberland County health official said.North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein announced the settlement with American electronic cigarette company JUUL Labs in June.
