WXII 12 – Beginning in March, Stokes County will be looking for a new sheriff. Sheriff Mike Marshall has announced he will retire at the end of the month. Monday night, Marshall told the Stokes County Commissioners of his intention to step down. He told members he has been dealing with several recent health issues, and news he has received from doctors is not good.
