Have you ever said to yourself, “I would have never voted for that candidate if I had only known…”

It has happened to everyone. You are familiar with some of the candidates, and typically research who is “top of the ticket.” But what about each of those down-ballot races, especially in a primary election, when you possibly have never heard of those candidates.

As we approach any given election cycle, Zooberg Report will track the ballot for you and present a summary of many races. We may not cover every election, in every county or town, but we will aim to tackle the legislature, statewide races, and elections in the major cities and counties.  Our goal is also to help you access what the local news mediums are already covering. All in one place.

EXAMPLE of CANDIDATE VERIFICATION

Z-Verified Table

Zooberg Report does not tell you how to cast your vote, but provides you with one place to find information on candidates. It allows our readers to have one portal with links to do your own research. We will also declare a candidate “Z-Verified” if they are credible. Credible does not mean they are good! Credible means they are at least marginally qualified for the office they seek, and have take the time to provide the public with how they are qualified for public office.

If a candidate is Z-Verified, it means they have put in the minimum amount of effort to make it worth your while to review their credentials. Most candidates will be Z-Verified, but it may also amaze you to see those on the ballot don’t meet this threshold.
